Inspections & Documentation

Q: What’s included in an inspection?
Safety check, exterior/interior assessment, photos/video, moisture readings, roof and envelope review, initial scope outline.

Q: Do you use drones or thermal imaging?
Yes—drone overviews when appropriate and thermal/IR for water migration and insulation anomalies.

Q: Will you walk my roof?
Yes, when it’s safe. Rope & harness for steep slopes; we won’t risk unsafe conditions.

Q: Do you share your photos and notes with my insurance?
Yes, with your permission. You own the data; we use it to support your claim.

Q: Is the inspection free?
Emergency loss inspections are included with mitigation. Stand-alone roof/claim inspections may have a fee that’s credited if you proceed.

Mitigation & Remediation

Q: What is “mitigation”?
Stabilizing the property to prevent further damage (extraction, drying, tarps, containment, temporary power, etc.).

Q: How long does drying take?
Typically 3–5 days. We log daily moisture and psychrometric readings; equipment stays until materials hit dry standards.

Q: Is antimicrobial used? Is it safe?
We use industry-approved products as needed. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) available on request.

Q: Will my home be noisy or hot during drying?
Yes—fans and dehumidifiers are loud and produce heat. Keep doors closed to maintain conditions.

,

Q: Do I need to move out?
Usually no for clean-water losses. For mold, heavy smoke, asbestos/lead abatement, or major demo, temporary relocation may be recommended.

Q: Do you handle contents and pack-out?
Yes—light manipulation is standard; full pack-out available when required.

Mold-Specific

Q: How do you handle mold?
Source control, containment, negative air, HEPA filtration, targeted removal, and cleaning. We follow recognized industry guidelines.

Q: Do you provide post-remediation verification (PRV)?
We coordinate third-party clearance testing when appropriate.
